Yadkin Cultural Arts Center

Woo hoo!  Two years of designing, measuring and ordering the most fabulous tobacco barn wood and the installation begins!  In a town where my grandparents once grew tobacco like so many other rural farmers, wine vineyards are the new crop.  I am truly grateful to be a part of this history, certainely would make the family proud :)

The Yadkin Arts Council is building a 10,000sf state of the art curtural center.  Classrooms for workshops, internet cafe open daily, lobby and art gallery, outdoor courtyard for receptions, eating and wine tastings, full service catering kitchen, and offices for Arts Council staff.

6,000sf of wood piled up and ready to go.

Framed doors in the internet cafe.

Cabinets for bar built and wrapped in barn wood.

Wall cabinet built from barn wood next to the serving window and entrance to the kitchen.
Bar wrapped in barn wood waiting for tile and countertop.
